Uncensored.

I've decided to start making my posts in this blog again instead of my private one.

Its currently day two of the blizzard, and WOOO BOY is it cold. My room is freezing, so I slept in Ashleys room.

I went over Dan's last night, and we played trivial pursuit and then rummy 390. We were going to try for 500, but the weather intervened. I came home around ten after midnight, but then I decided that I was going to go for a drive. I drove for an hour and a half in the snow. I love it. I've honed my skills and I can now control the vehicle almost completely. I can make it spin out at will, and I went two wheeling in the foot of snow in the high school parking lot. Donuts with two wheel drive is tough.

Job Hunt:
Well, I've an interview with Senator Buoniconti on Friday, but I'm just not feeling it. I am going to go and see what might come of it. Maybe something in the summer.

I'm in communication with Janet at the Agawam Chamber of Commerce, who I know through robotics and through the business plan competition, and through Mr. Burns. She is trying to find me a paying internship somewhere nice. I have faith in her.

My grandmother who lives in Cape Cod has called in some favors and called some corporate types that she knows as well as her connections in the City of Springfield. If only that other guy were still mayor....

I've got a lot of hooks in the water, and I think at least one is bound to catch. I've got a good chance at a lot of jobs in this sector. I'm pretty marketable, thanks to my conservatism, my perfectionism and robotics.

Vehicle:
The treppy saga is dragging on. The more it sits there and I have to get a ride from other people, or take Ysler, the more that I hate it. I've decided that I'm going to fix it and sell it.

Mr. Zaengle, the man who is going to fix it in the school and is dragging his feet. I can't really complain though, because he is going to be saving me like $1,500 in labor costs. I think I'm going to pursue other options if he postpones again.

I'm interested in a car, and I'm not going to say too much about it. Nothing's official, but its way within my price range. The only thing is that its going to be a beast to insure and even more of beast to repair.

Oh, that and its a 1995 Jaguar XJ6.

I was talking to my father about it, and he emphasized those things to me, and then he asks me..."What about an Audi?" I said, "Yea, those are nice too, but way out of my price range." He says, "Well, the A4 is nice."
"Yep it is. Very nice."
"I think an A6 would be better for you. I'll tell you what. I know a guy up at Fathers and Sons, his name is Rolland, and he is the Audi wizard. He's German, he blares classical music, he wears his glasses at the end of his nose, he's meticulous. I can't think of his last name."

We shall see what comes of that. If he buys it, I'm all for it. But I don't forsee that happening.

I'm liking the Jag.

That's all for now. More to follow.
